With heaps of sexiness and great humour the girls will be able to truly express themselves and learn the stylish movements this latin experience provides.<\/p>\n

Working alongside two of the finest instructors in Barcelona your group will learn the percussive foot movements and the famous clapping of hands. Once the girls have got that combination going our teachers will teach you a traditional routine that will encompass passion and flamboyance that will really leave the girls impressed. Of course, there will be a teaching of arm and hand movements throughout. Flamenco was introduced in Andalusia around the 17th century and has since become inseparable from the Spanish culture<\/strong>. As this unique phenomenon started to make waves in Andalusian territory it slowly started to spread quickly to the rest of the peninsula. A true testimony to this amazing cultural dance is the registration since 2010 in the intangible heritage of Unesco.<\/p>\n

Flamenco is the product of the fight and miscegenation between 3 cultures<\/strong>: Arab-Muslim, Jewish and Andalusian. At the beginning of the twentieth century, artists such as the virtuoso guitarist Paco de Lucia or the legendary singer Camaron de la Isla democratised and popularised flamenco. They have intermingled traditional rhythms (called compasses) with other more modern musical styles such as rumba, jazz, gypsy swing and pop music. This evolution made it possible to conquer a much wider audience and to flamenco artists to acquire an international reputation.<\/p>\n<\/div>
